A thank-you to my mentor

“My curiosity with fabric started young and experimental like most, it wasn’t until I turned my mum’s favourite pyjama bottoms into an apron that a few eyebrows were raised. But not for Zoie she recognised ‘that I could see shapes’. Before I knew it, I was surrounded by fabrics, zips and threads learning and soaking it all up like the little sponge I was. This is where the training started not that I noticed, fabric handling, pattern cutting, sewing…. pulling threads and re sewing. I have been so lucky to be introduced to the interior industry and find a passion that doesn’t feel like work and to find a mentor who is more like a friend.”
